March Gather and Grow

The 2013 lecture series continues on Tuesday, March 26th with Canine Lymphoma: an Onco Tech’s View  presented by Deanna Galarneau, CVT, Oncology Technician

Gather and Grow events begin at 6:30pm with light dinner
and an optional tour. The seminar runs from 7:00PM-8:00PM. All events are held
in the Education Center at Pieper Memorial, 730 Randolph Road in Middletown.
Gather and Grow is open to all veterinary staff members, including
receptionists, technicians, assistants, doctors and practice managers and is
free of charge!

Hill’s Veterinary Technical Nutritional Counselor Program

Hill’s will be hosting a free workshop at the Pieper Memorial Education Center on April 3rd from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Participants will be trained in basic nutrition and nutritional disease management through the use of lecture, group exercises & discussion, hands-on materials, and workbooks. The course is approved by RACE for 7  Continuing Education Credits upon completion of this one day course.

Gather and Grow Events

We are excited to announce the latest additions to our Gather and Grow series! To introduce the first  “Gather and Grow” series we will be offering an Ipod Nano as a door prize! Gather and Grow is an excellent opportunity for veterinary support teams to gather together and share interests, ideas and good food; while growing their skills and knowledge through educational seminars and wet labs. Technicians, assistants and receptionists are all welcome. There is no fee to attend. Read more

Remembering Dr. Pieper

Dr. Pieper

Dr. Pieper was born in Newington Connecticut and was raised on a dairy farm.  He graduated from Hartford High School in 1928 and the New York State Veterinary College at Cornell University in 1932.  He returned to Connecticut to open his private practice in 1933 catering to both large and small animals.
